The setting ist easy: every MITTWOCH three very old friends meet up to make music. Their last joint musical encounter as a student band goes back to the early 80s. The tools changed, the spirit remains the same, even if the setting is now transmitted from a dusty and humid cellar into a warm and cosy living room.

Either we react directly with voice, lyrics and instruments to musical sketches brought along, or songs are almost finished by one of us and get a final treat by MITTWOCH.

One way or the other - the feeling and the roughness of the moment is more important than the perfection of polished exercises.

Sounds, rhythms, field recording, instruments and lyrics are thrown up in the air - let‘s see what reaches the bottom.
